Promotional Products are the tangible symbols, usually imprinted with the company's name, message or logo to be used in a marketing/incentive/communication campaign. There are four categories that include:
| 1. Ad Specialties | 2. Business Gifts |
| 3. Premiums | 4. Recognition Awards |
4. Recognition Awards

Technically these can be viewed as premiums when used as
incentives, such as the vouchers that are given in sales contests for Comet
employees. They are items given to reflect performance, but it is the recognition
itself here that is more important than the prize.
Recognition Awards can be plaques, trophies, award jewellery or service pins (for example, McDonald's badges with the star rating categories).
